Best Self Produced CD


In addition to all of the other activities, The Blues Foundation also holds a contest to name the Best Self Produced CD each year, as a part of I.B.C. weekend. The CDs are submitted by Blues Foundation affiliates, and begin as a list of dozens of discs. In the months leading up to the International Blues Challenge, a panel of judges whittles that list down to the Top 12, and finally, the Top 4. From there, judging wraps up, and a winner is announced during the Solo/Duo Competition Finals.
